Cookie Policy

Last Updated: 15 May 2025

This policy explains what cookies are, how the Bersama website uses them, and what choices you have. We aim to keep things plain and straightforward — no unnecessary jargon.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work properly and to give site owners basic information about how their pages are being used.

Cookies do not contain personal information on their own — they store a small identifier that the website can read on your next visit. They cannot run programmes or carry viruses.

There are two main types based on how long they last:

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies Always active

These cookies are necessary for the website to function. Without them, parts of the site would not work correctly. They include cookies that remember your cookie consent choice, maintain basic security, and allow the contact form to operate. You cannot disable essential cookies through our preferences manager.

Analytics Cookies Optional

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the website — which pages are most visited, how long people spend on each page, and where visitors come from. This information is used in aggregate; it does not identify individual visitors.

Marketing Cookies Optional

These cookies are used to track visitors across websites and to show relevant advertisements. They help measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. If you decline these, you may still see advertisements, but they will be less relevant to you.

Preference Cookies Optional

These cookies remember choices you make on the website — such as your preferred language or region — so you do not have to re-enter them each time you visit.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on this website are placed by third-party services. Bersama does not control these cookies or the data they collect. The main third-party providers that may set cookies when you visit our site are:

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these providers if you have concerns about how they handle your data.
